WMRA keeps a low overhead and is run solely by a volunteer board of directors. To offset the cost of running this organization, WMRA retains 7% for annual administrative, legal and accounting fees.

Areas of Focus

  • Team Kit Fund

    This dedicated fund will provide a team set of 25 jerseys, shorts, and socks to a West Michigan Rugby youth team (U-19).

  • Team Equipment Fund

    This fund will help provide equipment (rugby practice and match balls, kicking tee, cones, bag) to teams in need. It is the best way to get from grassroots to an established side.

  • High Performance Fund

    This donation supports High Performance rugby athletes from West Michigan. These athletes may apply for assistance from WMRA for high performance camp costs, airfare/hotel for national teams/training, and other high performance related expenditures.

  • General Fund

    The WMRA General Fund helps support the organization in the efforts to fulfill the vision and mission.

  • The Rugby Pitch Fund

    The long term vision of creating an established state of the art rugby facility in West Michigan that can host our men’s and women’s sides as well as youth and high school tournaments.
